About KCI

Brae & Jill Wyckoff

Today, Kingdom Creativity International (KCI), which houses Kingdom Writers Association (KWA), reaches writers and creatives (all manner of scribes) across the globe. God uses Brae, Jill, and their leaders to help individuals grow in their true identity in Christ, advance in their gifting and anointing, and pursue their creative destiny to impact the one or the many for Jesus. Writers Communities and Creative Communities exist online and in person across America and the nations.

In December 2015, Brae Wyckoff heard the audible voice of God say, "Gather my scribes and give me room to speak to them." In January 2016, he posted on Facebook for anyone who wanted to gather to talk about writing. Five people gathered, two of whom were Brae and his wife, Jill. Encouraged by one another, this “small cloud in the sky” began to grow. Each month, more people gathered to talk about writing—not just the nuts and bolts but the personal challenges and the spiritual attacks. Like Aarons and Hurs, those gathered began to hold each other's arms up in the battle to write. As Associate Pastors of a local church, it was natural for Brae and Jill to shepherd their growing flock of writers. Through this Kingdom-minded community, with a foundation of scripture and prayer, Kingdom Writers Association was birthed in San Diego for local writers.

The local community grew and bore much fruit, but God had more. In 2020, He led Brae to leave his full-time employment in Management to pursue full-time ministry. Brae and Jill launched their nonprofit, Kingdom Creativity International (KCI), in May of that year.. KCI is led by a Board of Directors, and the Wyckoffs partner with pastors and ministry leaders to maintain accountability and spiritual covering.

Join our growing community, and let’s advance His Kingdom together!

KCI Culture

  • COMMUNITY:

We may create alone with God, but we surround, support, and exhort in community with one another. We’re better together.

  • KINGDOM-MINDED:

As Christian creatives, we advance the Kingdom through creative expression, whatever that expression may be. We carry the message of Christ (covertly or overtly). Our work is redemptive and life-giving.

  • PRESENCE:

God leads us. The Holy Spirit is in the midst of our community gatherings and empowers us to encourage one another. We are intentional about giving Him room to speak when we gather and to collaborate with us when we create.

  • COMMITMENT:

Creativity is not a hobby. Creating is our response to God’s calling—the fulfillment of our assignment and our destiny. We understand that Kingdom Creatives are on the front lines of His scribal/creative army, and we are in service to the King.

  • GROWTH:

Both inward and outward—increasing in personal and spiritual growth and advancing our craft. Growing in our true identity in Christ, we work to develop excellence, not perfection—strength to strength, glory to ever-increasing glory.

  • HONOR:

We honor our fellow Kingdom creatives, and we honor the process of creating.

  • CELEBRATION:

We celebrate wherever we are in our creative process. And we celebrate whenever our fellow Kingdom creatives succeed. A win for one is a win for the Kingdom, and a win for the Kingdom is a win for all.
